The game is currently using his CIRCULAR portrait, the one used on the minimap and in the center-screen kill announcements, on the right side of the screen kill announcements, where every other champion uses the square portrait. Thus there is a huge amount of the blue/green/red (or yellow in colorblind mode) background showing through, encircling his face, and it looks incredibly stupid.
