Gameplay - Loss of Keyboard/Ability Inputs

I have been having this issue for the past month or so where randomly upon joining a game I am unable to issue any commands with keyboard in game (i.e. game wont recognize me pressing q to cast), but i am still able to type in the chat. Going into the settings and trying to reset smart cast or even reset to default also does not solve the issue. The only way I have been able to solve the issue is by exiting the game, rejoining, and resetting all of my key bindings. This seems to happen I'd say once every 10-15 games and is very aggravating as it typically costs me my laning phase. If more information is needed or if there is a simple fix on my end I would greatly appreciate it.
