Client Buttons Not Working

Ok, so about two hours ago I updated my League of Legends patcher. I had already updated to Patch 5.21 before this. After updating, I launched the client. The first thing I noticed was that there was no animation by the login, even though I had it enabled. However I ignored this and logged in. The next thing I noticed was that after I logged in, the client looked different. The font of the Play button, the design of the border around all the articles available, the buttons at the bottom of the screen, all looked different. At first, I thought it was part of the update. But then, I noticed the friend list, messages, and notifications buttons all were flashing between being blue and gray. In addition, the notification button had a small yellow circle with an exclamation point next to it. When I tried clicking on the buttons, nothing happened, I restarted client and had the same thing. Eventally, I just uninstalled league. I'm currently reinstalling it now. It's rather annoying, since I was hoping to do a game with a couple of friends. So I was wondering if this happened to anyone else, and if so, why. Please respond if you know anything or have any ideas about this. Thank you.

This happened to me. Exactly as OP described, though I have a yellow circle and a question mark within my "Notification" tab.

I am having the same problem, did you have any luck fixing it with the re-install?

Hey guys, I tried reinstalling, and the client is now fine. Honestly, I don't know at all what it was. It just looked like it was an old model and the buttons at the bottom. My best advice I guess is uninstall and reinstall.
