PLEASE HELP

I've gone through this patching process a total of three times today. I even restarted my computer. What happens is that league will come up and notify me that it needs to restart in order to patch. I get the little patching bar- it loads all the way, then it just sits on the LEAGUE OF LEGENDS icon. Nothing else happens. It never loads a loading screen or opens the game. Its like its frozen. I've had pop up on my computer saying the program isn't responding so I try to cancel it- it loads for a bit longer before finally closing out. When I open league back up it starts the same process over again starting with "we were unable to patch the latest update for league, you have been returned to the older addition. League will start an update now".

Please help this is incredibly frustrating. I had another post but felt the need to make a new discussion with more detail on what my problem is. I cannot run it as administrator either

Your issue may be related to this. I'd wait until this is fully resolved before attempting to patch again.

there should be something Pinned in the league of legends board that provides guidance on how to fix this issue.

Some players may be able to patch now, but the fix is still propagating to all endpoints. Please give it some time, but the fix should be working shortly for everyone.
