How to Fix : Game won't load after champion select - League of Legends Community

I'm at a lost here. My last 3 games have gone through champ select and as soon as it switches to load into game, it refuses to load and pops up the "reconnect" button in my client. I click "reconnect" and it fails to open the game load screen. I've reset my internet, logged out logged in, initiated full repair, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and tried to follow the directions at the link provided. (i didn't see the files in these directions) Any help would be appreciated, I can't wait to start playing again.

Thanks!

Also, wasn't sure which board to put this on

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM !

I am having the same issue.

I have taken every troubleshooting step to solve this issue to no avail.

I submitted a bug report and nothing.

I submitted a detailed support ticket, no response.

The link Riot Bugcheck left on this thread is unhelpful and is an inappropriate response.

Someone please contact me so I can solve this on my side. If I am going to be faithful and honorable for Riot since 2015 and be mistreated in lieu of apathy I might as well just solve this issue on my own. Or stop playing altogether if I cannot reach a solution. I don't have any other choice, do I?

This just worked for me: go to the Properties on the League of Legends .exe file and make sure that "disable full screen optimization" is NOT checked off. Hope this helps!

  1. Disable IPv6

Go to this Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929852/guidance-for-configuring-ipv6-in-windows-for-advanced-users Scroll down and press the download "Disable IPv6 on nontunnel interfaces (except the loopback) and on IPv6 tunnel interface" button Open the "MicrosoftEasyFix20169.mini" file Press "Next" when the window pops-up and wait Press "Close" and you're all set 2. Switch to a Public DNS

Switching to a public DNS may resolve the issue you are experiencing: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752664#wq5

  1. Firewall

Your issue may also be caused by a firewall installed on your machine. Even if you didn’t install a firewall, Windows comes with one by default, so we should make sure it’s configured correctly to play League without interruption.

Please first follow our guide on configuring firewalls for League.

If this doesn’t improve your situation, try temporarily uninstalling all firewalls from your computer (except Windows Firewall, which you can only disable).

Also, make sure you're able to connect and play a custom game after any changes before venturing into matchmade play to avoid Leaverbuster penalties!
