[Client] Greyed out play button
Hello everyone! I have submitted a bug report through the client, but I would like to post in the boards as well since it is frequented.
I have been experiencing a rather frustrating bug that I've seen a few players post about on the forums as well. My goal for this thread is to make it visible for players to see, and for players also experiencing this bug to post details about what is happening to them.
This is what I submitted in my bug report: > -Relogging usually fixes the bug (About 75-90% of the time). This is temporary. > -The button greys out after a few minutes of being logged in. > -The button greys out immediately after a match. > -"Replay" button after a match is still available 100% of the time. > -Sometimes the button does not become available after a relog. Repairing the client helps but does not solve the issue. > -My network connection is solid. I can play games when the button is available, and do not get disconnected or experience lag. > -If the button is properly working, nothing else is affected. Lobby & champ select works normally. > -There is no set time period when this happens. It has been happening since 1/28/17 whenever the client is open. > -I am still able to use all other parts of the client normally.
I strongly, strongly encourage all of you experiencing this bug to report it as well. The more reports come in, the more information Riot has to go off of in order to resolve the issue. You can submit a bug report through your client through a button at the bottom of your friends list. When you submit your bug report, try to include as much info as possible, even things that may not seem relevant. Try to answer questions like, "What time(s) does this occur?" and "Does this affect me anywhere else in the client?", as well as any fixes you have found.

Relogging usually works. If the button is still greyed out after a few relog attempts, you can repair the client through the settings menu, and it should work again.
