ive played xerath many times but i played him like 2 times in the past couple days and eveytime i ult my first barrage shot always goes right on top on xerath even when my ccursor is somewhere else on the map and my teamates have seen it happen too, idk if its just my pc or if its a bug, pls help
Definitely not just your PC. One of our engineers is digging into this issue at the moment. Thanks for the bug report.
Yeah I came here to report this bug. It doesnt happen to me ever time, usually just when Im spamming r while channeling the initial cast time. but this has lost me a couple of kills over the past couple days and im kinda salty.
Had the same bug and it was happening consistently for me, 5/6 ults I used last game had the bug.
I've both seen and experienced that as well.
Seems to happen mostly when attempting to cast immediately after activating the ult.

Also had this bug in a game of URF. It ended up saving me as I was being jumped on, but it still shouldn't be wasting 1/3 of the ult in many cases.
Is the bug that every time there's an Xerath on your team he misses his ult....and everything else in his combo
yea I came here as well to report this... ITS just not his ultimate. It is effecting his Q as well. I as a player rotate his Q rapidly back and forth and launch it when the time is prime to guarantee anticipation of unit direction does not conflict with reaction time. His Q's have launched in the complete wrong direction as a result of it. Please fix this... I've lost 2 rank games with Xerath before I realized it wasn't me.
There is also an instance where your q (while charging) just randomly cancels itself. The spell does not go on cooldown and you can begin charging it immidiately after (from the beggining, again).
It does not happen often but it happened 3-4 times in the last game i played (saturday - I do not play him atm cause of the bugs).

I just played as xerath and can confirm that the bug is still live. I ulted and the first shot always lands on top of xerath
This problem still isnt fixed with Xerath's Ult, i bought him having no idea there was such a big bug with his attack. i really want this fixed. please riot games fix this problem thats been here for months
im rather new with Xerath but i cannot seem to get the barrage shot to even fire i click the r key then it gives me a range and a circle on my curser but if i click a target left or right it still wont do anything do i use a key to select one of the three targets? can someone explain?
i've noticed when running from xerath ults that he usually only shoots twice at me when last i checked i thought he got 3. maybe thats why ive been getting away safely lately.
I don't know if it is currently a bug or a change that Riot did not include in the patch notes, but If you look closely at Xerath's ult range as soon as you click the ability, the circle quickly expands to the total range, much like Xerath's Q. So You have to wait for the ult to reach the full range or it will not work correctly.

it happens every time I ult. I am a xerath main, so between the wasted first shot, and the extra time it takes to fire the second, his ult is basically useless now.
