In a series with 98 LP

Ok so I lost my first game in a series because I was the ADC and my computer overheated. When I finally rebooted and logged back in we lost the game. Yes everyone hates me. Anyways.... When I logged back in it said I dropped down to 80 LP. I assumed that meant that I lost my entire series because I disconnected.

However, I just won my last game. I am at 98 LP and it shows on the post game screen that I am still in fact in a series, with a big red X for my first game and a green check mark for my second game.

What's going on here? Am I really in a series with 98 LP? Is this a bug?

If you're in a series, you still win/lose lp so you know where you stand. If you win 2, however, you're still promoted. If you lose two, win one, you're not going to be at 100 lp after losing a series. :p It's hard to explain making sense, but I hope it does.

Sigh. Dude. You are in you're series. But you lose Lp like when you lose a game. What happened here is. You lost the first game with -x amount of LP. Then you won the second game witch gave you +x Amount of LP it's like normal ranked games. you lose LP so if you lose you're series you will get placed at that LP.

Welp, I think I get it! I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to these digital games of video. Thanks for the input!
