[Client] Logging in Problem in EUW. Please HELP

NamiUItsJapan·1/12/2015, 3:18:53 AM·1 votes·1,388 views

Because servers in EUW were down, i changed to NA and logged in to play in another acc. Up to that point, everything was all right. It installed another small patch for NA but that was it. After i saw that EUW servers were functioning again, i tried logging in to my EUW acc, changing the server i wanted to play on (obviously), but here is what i got after i put in my acc name and password and pressed enter:

Starting authentication progress... Logging on...

and then: CONNECTION ERROR Connection Failure: UNable to connect to pvp.net server. Information regarding what may have caused the error can be found here (link) Service availability can be viewed on the League of Legends Server Status web page.

I have tried reinstalling the game but the problem persists. I am able to log in to my NA account when i change servers, which is strange. Please help. Thank you

I have already done the dns change and stuff, reinstalled but problem is still there. THank you again for your kind help and hope this gets resolved soon.

Hi Hiro - can you please try the following?

  • Go to start and search for "Network and Sharing Center". Open this option.
  • In the middle of the screen to the right, you'll see: 'Connections: XXXX' Where XXXX is your type of connection (IE: Wireless, Local Area Connection). Click on this to open it.
  • Click on 'Properties'
  • Locate the field for "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", and double-click it.
  • On the bottom, select "Use the following DNS server addresses", and input the following:

Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4

  • Click OK twice

At this point we've changed the DNS settings, but we'll need to flush the old settings.

  • Press Windows Key + R to open up Run
  • In run, type "cmd" and hit enter
  • Type "ipconfig /release" (note the space in the middle) - let this run.
  • When completed, type "ipconfig /renew" (note the space in the middle)
  • When completed, type "ipconfig /flushdns" (note the space in the middle)
  • Once completed, try the game again.
