Most recent patch fixed my client issues?
So back in patch 4.20 I started having pvp.net disconnections. It was also during that time that my friend's list folders got rearranged. I have the "general" list + 2 folders I made myself, and in patch 4.20 (maybe 4.19?) they got rearranged, but I didn't think anything unusual about that.
But that was when I would dc from pvp.net after idleing for 5 minutes or so, I couldn't see game invites, got dc'd in the game lobby within minutes, constantly having to relog, and I never got to see the after game lobby, all I saw was "waiting for stats" then "you have been disconnected from pvp" about a minute later. And when I would first log into the client I sometimes couldn't even connect to the pvp without trying over and over, or just having to relog and hope it works.
Nothing gamebreaking, but still very annoying. I sent a ticket to Riot hoping they could help, but as usual they assume it's something on my side. I made a post about how lots of people seem to have issues like this with certain patches, and Riot blames the players, suggesting they fix their computer settings, firewall, internet, etc. I asked "if that were the case, why do these things only happen with certain patches?!"
So today I saw further proof it was Riot's faulty patches. I had a small patch today for them removing the Poro King game mode. When I logged in I saw my friend's list was how it used to be, I connected instantly to Pvp.net, and the chat room I frequent. I even went idle for about an hour on my client and NO DISCONNECTIONS. I played a few games, I was able to see the after game lobby! I can also see invites, and stay in a lobby with no disconnections. So everything seems to be fixed after this small patch.
Soooo...yeah. Anyone else have anything similar happen to them?
