[GAMEPLAY] Ekko delay on activating the W when inside it with his E blink

So when mastering ekko i noticed that if i used the E blink to an enemy which is on my W , it would have a delay to activate it, meaning that there would be a small time where i was in W without activating the W. I have no idea if this is supposed to happen or not. Would be graceful for a response to this.
