No sales. Part of the "We don't even NEED your money" store bug or not?

Been wanting to buy my Rengar-playing best friend part of his Christmas gifts since the sale was declared. On the second to last last day, finally managed to get into the store to buy RP. Then like a day later finally managed to get to the gifting page. Filtered down to just "On sale" and did not see Night Hunter Rengar. Or anything at all. Is this because for purposes of gifting sales don't apply? And if so... why have the bloody filter?

Sorted through with no filters, found the skin for the non-sale price.

This was before the sale ended (if it even has as of the posting. I saw it in the normal store [when I was finally able to get into that].)

Bug? Seems like bug. Probably bug. Guess no money for you, Riot. I'd complain, but you're just hurting yourself. Maybe this whole "Not able to get money" issue will drive home the importance of better QA.
