[CRASH/CLIENT] randomly fade to black?

Ok, so my client randomly went to black during champ select and I couldn't connect with the team. I was kicked out of the ranked game for not being able to choose in time, and because this happened in my promos, I'm marked with an x. I really don't want to have to risk trying to win two in a row when one is a "loss" I couldn't control(literally). I have never purposefully dodged a game, and I have never afk'd from a game (unless my internet crashed but I try my hardest to come back). I'm sure you guys on the team can see that in my records, I think? Here's a screenie of what happened, and I was duoing with a friend when it did. I could speak to them and look at my friends list, but nothing else.

I'm not sure how to replicate it, and I'll gladly wait the time out idm at all, but I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally don't want that loss on my promos. I just don't find it fair at all that I didn't intend for anything to happen and then the client went wacky (as seen in image) and then time ran out, and I'm slapped with a penalty and loss. :(
