Katarina Death Lotus Bug

Was playing as Kat vs. Aurelion Sol. Was ulting and he cancelled it with his ult, yet my ult instantly came off of cooldown, allowing me to kill him. Is this an old bug or has it been here for a while. Anyone else experience this?

Unless your ult affected 2 other people that ended up dying few seconds after then your CDR would be reduced really quickly (her passive) but this seems like a bug
