Lux 'e' stops working (ranked, restarting game failed to fix)

While ranking, I activated my lux's 'e' and as I tried to reactivate it I saw no visual that I even used it. Was using in Renekton and Kayle i think. What I found out was that the system thought I used my 'e' but did not reactivate it, but it also didnt even register that I used it int he first place. So my 'e' ended up on "reactivation mode" costing 0 mana and I couldnt get it out of that mode. Ended up losing the game. I tried to rejoin the game as well as restarting the launcher with no help. Was really frustrating.
