Thornmail doesn't reflect Knight buff mitigations

I have a Darius 2* with a thornmail and 4x Knight Buff. An Ashe 1* with 60 attack damage was only receiving 27 reflect damage. She should be receiving 40 at an absolute minimum, before armor is even taken into account.
